Six years in a variety of roles at Mosaic, across client services and both our contact and distribution centres, have given Jane a unique depth of understanding about our clients’ needs, campaigns and products.
Jane ensures orders are dispatched to customers in a timely manner. Products are picked in the warehouse, before being packed by Jane and her fellow team members and sent through to the couriers for delivery.
From doublechecking that the item is the right one, to packing it safely and securely, and making sure it is dispatched on time, it’s a role that demands a key eye for detail. For the naturally meticulous Jane, it’s a challenge she thrives on.
Peak trading season brings its challenges with the large volume of orders that arrive from around September through to the end of the New Year sales, but Jane absolutely loves it because of the camaraderie amongst her colleagues and the pride they take in getting things done properly.
“We really pull together like a good family during busy times.”
She’s also a fan of The Leprosy Mission (TLM) products, not just because they’re good quality and artisan-made but because she knows the money goes to a good cause. Her time working with this charity client has shown her how important its work is and proved an eye opener about the ongoing impact of leprosy – a condition Jane, like many others, had previously assumed had been eradicated.
When she’s not at work, Jane’s usually to be found with her grandchildren, and Hendrix their dog.
“My three grandchildren are my favourite pastime, hobby, and passion,” she says.
Perhaps it’s for this reason that TLM’s children’s books are her stand-out products: “They’re lovely – educational, fun, and have beautiful illustrations.”
