Mosaic gears up to develop unrivalled charity services division led by ex-Rapidata and regular giving pioneer, Scott Gray
Mosaic Fulfilment Solutions (Mosaic FS) is developing a state-of-the-art specialist charity division that will deliver the most comprehensive suite of services available in the non-profit sector. Already the biggest response handling group for charities, the move promises to shake-up the services market, creating a new offering that will make it easy for charities to give the best possible experiences to their supporters. Focus will be on delivering exceptional supporter journeys and sustainable growth for its charity partners.
Scott Gray has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer – Charity Division (CCO) and will head up the new division and drive its commercial development. Scott was previously managing director of Rapidata and Head of Payments at The Access Group.
Known for his work over more than 20 years in developing and advocating charitable regular giving practices, and for leading the move away from Standing Orders to the more manageable Direct Debit payment mechanism for donations, Scott brings a deep understanding of fundraising and the wider charity sector and its needs.
He says:
“Being tasked with aligning Mosaic’s impressive array of services into a specialist charity division is thrilling. There is so much hidden potential here that will really help charities, if I can fulfil the vision reached by the board and I, it will be something very special indeed for the sector.
Our aim is to partner with charities to meet the demands and expectations of today’s supporters – through insight, technology and exceptional service for the very best supporter experience possible.
I’ve been listening and learning about the calibre of services Mosaic is able to provide. Some are well kept secrets that will really shake things up. All share common purpose in providing vital services to our charity partners. Bringing these altogether into one seamless and scalable offering will really make a difference.”

In creating the new division Scott will align the Group’s businesses (Mosaic Fulfilment Solutions, Telebank and CommittedGiving), while utilising significant investment in technologies around real-time systems integration, optimisation, and personalisation across all touch points of the supporter journey. A broad range of services, some unique to Mosaic, include rich data insight, best in market e-commerce solutions, secure mailroom donations handling, telephone response management, thanking and banking, events fulfilment, online fundraising, raffles, lotteries, payment processing and more.
Group chief executive Duncan Marrison comments, “As we move into our next phase of growth, we’re creating a market-leading provision. We want to work together with our charities to improve and innovate; to rethink the way we can help support them in engaging their public audiences and build on that for long term loyal support. Scott has the credentials to help us reach that goal.”
