Mosaic's peak trading and courier christmas updates
There is no doubting it has been a record year, delivered in exceptional circumstances. We’re pleased and proud to have supported our clients and charity partners.
For those who supplied forecasted figures, these have been passed onto our courier partners. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we are expecting a very high number of parcels in the weeks before Christmas and into the New Year. We have commitments with our couriers to collect the forecast volumes, however, if trade is significantly higher than that there may be situations where additional collection vehicles can not be provided at short notice by our courier partners, causing carry-over to subsequent days.
We have planned extra resource and courier collections for Black Friday (tomorrow!), Cyber Monday and the three “Super Sunday’s” (29th Nov, 6th Dec, 13th Dec) to support your forecasted volumes.
Please allow extra time for deliveries across the UK due to increased volume. For Europe and the Rest of the World, there are pressures on airline capacity and additional local measures to help prevent Covid-19 spreading – all of which impact on delivery times and result in further delays to many overseas destinations.
We strongly advise that you should allow an additional 2 – 3 days onto our last posting dates to Europe and allow an extra week for Rest of the World destinations.
Carriers will come in midday on Christmas Eve. There will be no collection from York House on the 25th or 28th December or 1st January 2021.
